Literature shows that children in marginalized communities have lower education attainment and opportunities for financial success compared to their peers. Minorities are largely underrepresented in STEM careers.

The Austin Movement Project aims to help bridge this educational and wealth gap in children of color by providing opportunities for immersive experiences in the profession of physical therapy and the broader medical community.
